Two Scientific Absurdities

Do you ever contemplate the makeup of our physical world and the heavens? I realize that most of us are too busy with day to day life to give much thought to a far out topic like this. I also realize that even if we do spend a little time thinking about how the universe and the natural laws of God work, we still have a very difficult time comprehending how this kind of contemplation can bring practical beneficial results. Therefore, we often leave formulation of theories on this important area of human understanding to Godless scientific types living on government handouts.

I believe all truth, whether spiritual or natural, is important. I also believe that each of these bodies of truth become much more powerful tools to promote good, when inspired by the Holy Spirit. Many Christians will agree that it is important to seek the Holy Spirit, in order to gain an understanding of spiritual truths, but fail to see the importance of seeking that same Holy Spirit when seeking knowledge about the natural laws of the universe. On the other hand, non Christians, who have no ability what so ever to understand spiritual truth, are in a better position, in one sense, to focus all their intellect toward discovery of natural truths. Since their natural minds are created in the image of God, and they are unfettered by false theology, the Godless are many times able to gain understanding of the the natural laws of the universe, which eludes Christians. However, this knowledge will always be distorted by sin and Satan and it is this distortion which is presented, by our educational institutions, to young minds.

The harm caused by Christians and non Christians alike, who seek truth, both natural and spiritual, through the prism of the natural mind only, without the Holy Spirit’s guidance, cannot be overstated. Tremendous power has been abdicated to Godless secular institutions of so called higher learning because Christians have not allowed the Holy Spirit to lead their minds into all truth, including the natural as well as the spiritual, which could debunk ridiculous theories designed to leave God out of the picture, being fueled, not by a desire to find the truth, but a desire to conform to the world around them.

Here are examples, of two easily understood, but distorted, natural scientific truths, which will help clarify my point.

1. An average fifth grader can look up into the night sky and see that everything is circular and spherical in course and shape. Not a single major observable cosmic phenomenon is elongated into parallel paths or alignments. Yet I saw a program recently on the science channel talking about a theory of parallel universes and something called “string theory”. This is foolishness.  From simple observation, it is obvious that space stretches out in three dimensions forever and ever. This means that the universe is a sphere, with an infinite radius, and an infinite circumference. There is absolutely no proof for eleven dimensions or parallel universes, which bump into each other from time to time, causing big bangs when they touch. Yet, this is what some scientists are saying. Observable proof abounds, however, for the three dimensions of space only. Proof for the other eight simply does not exist.

2. Here is another belief, which has no basis in fact. An average fifth grader has enough experience in life to understand that there is always something else beyond his own house, his school, his town, his country, the world, the sun and the galaxies beyond his own Milky Way. If there is always something else beyond what we can see, is it not absurd to theorize that the universe will eventually run out of energy, as many scientists now believe? The common sense of a fifth grader tells us the universe is infinite. If the universe is infinite, so are the forces which fuel it. Yet, man without God, caught up in the prison, of his finite mind, tends to see everything as finite, with a beginning and an end. Why? Because infinity is not part of man's natural nature. It is a characteristic of God, and the carnal mind is at odds with God.

Although, it is intuitively and experientially obvious that the universe is an infinite sphere, which possesses infinite resources, the natural and Godless mind of man will consistently mix sound science with pseudoscience to cloud a simple and rational explanation to simple questions like these. Christians, as well as non believers, fall victim to this absurd way of reasoning, by rejecting the knowledge freely given to us, by the Holy Spirit. By following this course of action, Christians abdicate great influence to Godless entities, giving the godless enormous power over our children and our children’s children, which relegates the human condition time and time again to an environment, predisposed to one unimaginable evil after another.
